My name is Jess, I have been with Green Days since the start and have seen it grow from strength to strength. I love being part of such a dynamic proactive team that provide such good care to the guys.
I enjoy helping out with animal care, long walks and day trips. I love see what all the guys can achieve and am proud to be part of that.

Having over 30yrs experience in learning disabilities services I have gained a wealth of knowledge and understanding. I have an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care and have continued to update my practice.
I am based in the shop, we enable people to be part of the community, promote independence and learn new skills around retail. We have a range of craft and upcycling projects happening as well as local crafts people giving us demonstations.
I most enjoy time with family, walking, upcycling, gardening and arts and crafts.

Hi my name is Mark and I’ve been a Senior at Greendays since September 2017. I have 14 years experience as a Residential Social Care worker working with children 8-18 yrs old with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties this was a challenging role which had its rewards and I really have loved getting to know everyone who comes to Greendays and use my experience in helping people achieve their potential & personal goals.
I especially enjoy all the great community work we do at RAFT, Open Door and Litter picking keeping our Communities clean. My hobbies are mainly Sports with Football Rugby & Golf my favourites.

Since leaving school I spent the first 16 years of my working life in retail. I then took a career break and went to college as an adult student to study holistic studies anatomy and physiology and beauty therapy NVQ level 2, it was during my studies that I required a job which allowed me to work and study at the same time and this is how I started in care, firstly working with Sedgemoor college specialist care girls unit & then onto working with Adults with learning disabilities , firstly in the private sector and then with Somerset County Council, both in the adults Sector and the children’s sector.
I joined Green Days daycare in August 2016 as a relief support worker and then taking a permanent contract with them in May 2017

My name is Tim Slocombe. I’ve been working for Green Days since September 2020. I love working in the care sector which enables us to develop strong relationships with our service users.
I’m keen to work in the outdoors at our allotment and various community projects we are involved in. I also love woodwork and gain a real sense of achievement when we complete our projects.
In my spare time I enjoy all sports with rugby being my favourite, also love getting away with the family in our VW van.

Hi! My name is Claire Louise Care. I have been working for Green Days since 2019. I work behind the scenes and deal with all of the Green Days Administration. I have over 20 years’ experience within the Retail Management sector. I am also a trained Massage therapist and Reflexologist and have a level 1 in BSL.
When I am not at work, I love to spend time in my garden and walking my dog Monty. I love spending days with my family at the beach.

Hi, I’m Kelsey and I have worked in care for the past 5 years. I have worked in a day center, in supported living, and in a school for children with learning disabilities. My hobbies are football, going out on my motorbike and taking my dog out on a walk.
I am a very passionate person and believe in bringing a person-centered approach whilst supporting everyone to do the activities that they would like to do. I am really looking forward to the future with Green days.

My name is Layla and I have been at Greendays since I was 16 where I started off as a student whist I completed my Level 3 Health and Social care course. I decided to further my career at Greendays after I finished college as a full-time support worker.
I have now been working here for nearly a year and it’s amazing how much of a difference you make to the service users’ lives! It is so rewarding to see how much Greendays means to the adults we support. My favourite activities to do with the guys are exploring new places around the area and going on days out. It is been a great start for my Health and Social care career, gaining experience with adults with various different learning disabilities.

Hi, My name is Lucie and I am getting some work experience with Green Days. I’ve grown up with my parents working with people with disabilities and I really enjoy the challenges and joys it brings. I like arts and crafts, music and dance and watching Burnley play Football.

Hi everyone, I’m Marc, I’m 41 years old and have worked at Green Days since September 2021. I have previously worked in a school supporting children with special needs, I was there for 22 years. I enjoy the person-centered approach at Green Days, our main focus is to ensure that everyone has a great time! I am very passionate about enhancing and seeking new experiences that people who attend will benefit from, but most of all ensuring there’s lots of fun!
In my spare time, I enjoy movies, cycling, and seeing new places. I am honoured to be a part of Green Days and look forward to the future with the company.

Hey! My name is Tiffany Smythe-Moore and I have been working for Greendays since October 2021. My job role consists of administration duties, organising events, and helping to implement new activities.
I previously managed an optical practice and I am also a qualified dispensing optician. I have a little boy named Jude, so in my spare time, you can mainly find me in soft play centres or baby groups!

Hi all! My name is Vicki Davies. I have a varied background but in a previous life I was a Matron for women’s health and practiced as a Midwife for 17 years in the NHS
Since then I have worked in early years in the community and in senior school education. I am a proud mummy of two amazing boys and a precious little girl, two naughty dogs, and a very well-behaved cat. People are important to me and my life is very sociable.
I love to cook so often I have friends over to share my food! My home has an open-door policy – All welcome!

Hi! My name is Candy. I am a mummy to 3 boys. I Grew up abroad and flew around the world for my work before becoming a mum. I love beach life and my passion is interior design. I also Love Tattoos, shoes and the colour Pink!!! I really enjoy my day at Green Days and love doing the Arts and Crafts with our service users.

Hi, my name is Jo and I’ve been working for Green Days for just under 6 months. I have worked in residential care working with pmid for 10 and a half years before making a career move to improve my work-life balance. I have level 2 and 3 health and social care and have done lots of different training related to care and learning disabilities.
I love the change I’ve made and am enjoying getting to know all of the guys at Greendays! I help run the music sessions and really enjoy seeing everyone express themselves. The eclectic tastes in music never fail to surprise me!
My outlook on care is that you should look at what someone could possibly do not what they can’t! In my past roles I loved arranging day trips to the theatre and holidays including one to Disneyland.
I look forward to bringing lots of ideas to Greendays and enrich the lives of the guys I have the pleasure of working with.

I started Green Days in 2015 then took time out to study Health and Social Care to gain my level 3 and had two boys, Brodee and Teddee. I enjoy working at Green Days doing different activities and socialising with lots of different people, I love being active and being outdoors.

Hi, I am Shaun and I’m relatively new to the team. After working in retail for 11 years and working my way into management, I really fancied doing a rewarding job that makes people smile. And Green Days have given me that opportunity. I have 4 children and a fiance and take great pleasure in watching them enjoy themselves and make memories.
I enjoy playing sports and especially like football which I play and watch often. I enjoy the great outdoors and love the fresh air.
I pride myself on being approachable and believe that everyone should be treated equally. I’m looking forward to my Green Days career.

Hi, my name is Sally and I’ve just been lucky enough to join the Greendays team. I have been working in care homes for the elderly for around 22 years. I love being able to spend time and really get to know the people I care for.
I love being out in nature and can’t wait to be out and about with the guys in the coming months, growing bonds together. In my spare time, I love walking my dogs, camping and just being out with my family making memories.

My name is Richie. I served in the British Army for twelve years from the age of 16. Since leaving the Army I have been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the Ambulance Service, a Community Payback Coordinator in the Probation Service and a self employed first aid instructor.
I only started working at Green Days a month or so ago but am really enjoying getting to know the Service Users and my new colleagues

Hi my name is Michelle and I started working with Green Days on the 21st June 2023. I am already enjoying my new role and will be working in the café, shop and other venues.
My previous roles have been in fostering, adoption and child protection services as a social worker and children services manager. I did work at six acres as a social worker too and did voluntary work with the council Oxley day centre for adults.
I have also been a therapeutic counsellor and a teacher of a unit with students who had emotional behavioural difficulties.
In my spare time I enjoy my grandchildren, riding my electric bike, swimming, researching, walking, crochet, cooking, shopping and days out at the beach or In the countryside.

Hello, my name is Bev and I have recently become a member at Green Days. I am a mum of three boys (Two humans and one dog!!) all who keep me very busy.
I have previous experience in care and I am really looking forwards to my new venture and building relationships with service users and my colleagues.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors with my family, listening to music and watching TV.

My name is Terry although most people know me as Gibbo! This is my first time working with adults with LD and I wish I’d done it years ago.
I have 3 children and live with my partner. My hobbies include football, darts, and making people smile. Although I’m new to Green Days I hope to bring humour, happiness and make service users and staff have the best day ever. I’m looking forward to a long and successful career.

Hi, I’m James. I’ve spent a significant part of my professional life working in a school for young people with additional needs and disabilities. I have experience in day service settings and found this to be a refreshing change compared to our education system.
I value supporting individuals in finding their place within a community, a person-centred approach, and finding fun and happiness throughout each day.
Outside of work, I enjoy football, films, theatre, and pursuing my ambition to become a counsellor.

I have 8 years’ experience in Catering and 5 Years’ experience in Mental Health, so combining the two works perfectly for me. Hi I’m Lucy, I am extremely excited and privileged to be starting with the Green days family.
I was introduced to Green Days by my sister Lesley and after helping at the Bridgwater carnival, I couldn’t stay away. I have previous experience in care and more recently in primary school as an LSA. I live with my partner, my daughter who is 18 and our naughty dog, called Sid.
